Too much in shell scripting Aditya? :) Could use "more $HOME/pnpdumpout" (or
better still, less :))

Anyway, I found that it is a much better option to "warm boot" Linux before
running sndconfing. I have an OPTi 931 sound card and I do the following -
1. Keep loadlin.exe and the kernel in c:\loadlin
2. Boot into Win95 and hit F8 to boot into command line.
3. Run c:\loadlin <kernel>

This takes me into Linux. After the first boot this way, I ran sndconfig and
it did its job. Since then, sound rocks!
