IT.com and an upset prabhu

hi,

So it appears that no one from here is really interested in
IT.com.

Give me a break folks. There are 139 members here - agreed
there are a few folks from outside Chennai but there are so many here.
Here is a golden opportunity to do something good, learn something,
see/interact with some of the big Linux people in India and have loads
of fun. I am sure some of you will have a few hours every week when
you can do something for the exhibit at it.com. I guess you can even
get a stall for ILUGC (free of cost). So why doesnt someone take the
initiative and do something constructive. Since Ravikant wanted me to
do something I am going to ask him to do something for once. I guess
you are on the mailing list. At least you can summarize what needs to
be done. If someone has ideas on ilugc you can forward them back
there. If they need something specific why dont you let us know.

MKS, it would be wonderful if you could go to IT.com. If funding is a
problem I think you can ask Atul or maybe we could all get together
and do something. You could go there and talk about Tamil related
localization, make demos etc. I dont think providng machines would be
a problem. This will give you fantastic exposure and will also tell
others where to look when they want Tamil related stuff. Overall it
will certainly be a good experience. Please tell us what you think.

Any other ideas would be welcome. Folks, please dont be lazy. Do
something, please.

thanks,
prabhu
