[LI] Getting hacked and Stuff

Hi there,
  I'm still new to Linux and hence I use Win 98 to connect to the net
whenever I do... and recently I discovered I keep getting netbus-ed and I
used some netbuster program .. http://surf.to/netbuster
 to detect some guy from Calcutta netbus-ing me...and now I get this guy ...
*** Resolved 203.197.133.20 to bay_65.pppmad.vsnl.net.in
This guy isnt even using netbus but some neat program using other ports
etc... I caught his IP off the firewall that I *just* set up....

Attempt: src=203.197.133.20, dst=202.54.6.161, sport=1561, dport=110.

Any suggestions on what I should/can do ? If you're gonna reply saying I
should migrate wholly to Linux ... save your breath 'cause thats happening
... Any *other* suggestions would be welcome....
  Also , I am contemplating buying up some Linux stuff in Madras .. such as
Textbooks / CDs / etc..
  Any more suggestions ? I also looked at gtcdrom.com ... but it refers to
mumbai ?
