Hi,
  Rutvik Doshi says that his bash dumps core after a few shutdowns.
Q1: Well how *do* you shutdown?
Q2: Are you suggesting that the bash binary actually gets modified?

   You can disable modification of your bash binary by doing a
chattr +i `which bash`
   after a clean install of bash. But why the binary (If?!) changes
is beyond my comprehension.
