Hi,
  The ext2 file-system has a default maximal mount count set at 20 ie. after 
every 20 mounts, the start-up scripts force a file-system check. You can 
change the default maximal mount-count by using the
"tune2fs" program. Use this program with care, especially on mounted 
file-systems (read the manuals).
