Hi,
    I upgraded to kernel 2.2.10 and went through the kernel docs. again
only to find no change in the kernel drivers. The doc. that talks
about the 8-bit PLIP is /usr/src/linux/Documentation/networking/PLIP.txt
   The kernel-driver for PLIP is /usr/src/linux/drivers/net/plip.c
   I have recompiled my kernel all proper. Back to searching the net...
   Tried at LinuxNews and FreshMeat. Returning to kernel.org

BTW, I sent the first PLIP mail long back. I am surprised it appeared
in the mailing-list only now.
