Re: Linux v/s Mac OS X?



Hi Dev,

Well how about this on a Mac:
1. Install new HD physically
2. Power up the system
3. If HD is OK, will be mounted, if not formatted, a dialog pops up
   asking you whether you would like to format it, just select the
   File System type and format.

That¹s it.

Next time you boot, the HD is there, no editing of any files required.
In fact, you could install the new HD without even touching the Keyboard,
just the single button Mickey do the work for you...
