any experience with WINE (WINE Is Not an Emulator) which exports the Win32 API to Linux, allowing you to run Excel, Word etc directly on linux. I guess staroffice provides Word/Excel capabilities, but WINE would allow practically any windows application to run on linux. - Ruchir
