I hate the personality cult.
No one is above  god, law, system, linux  (in that order)
Linux will not die today even if Mr. Linus stops releasing the kernel.
Because the strength of linux lies in its open source and not in
personalities.

Most non RedHat user will agree that Linux would have grown in India even if
atul or pcq would not been there.

Indians have gained (financially or otherwise) from Linux but miserably
failed to contribute (again financially or otherwise).
If all the Indians, who made money from linux, would have
contributed even 1% then there would have at least 10 mirrors ( 4 Lacs per
mirror).

CPAN.ORG is mirrored at more than 150 sites   world over, and the list
includes small countries like Estonia, Chile. Not a single mirror in India.

And discussion about first Linux mirror is blowing so hot around
personality, I don't see any mirror coming up in near future.

Why would any one? There is total freedom of worship in India, Take you
pick.
But don't blow the personalities out of proportion at least on Public
Mailing List.
