Dear All,

bplnet.com invites you to a talk by Mr. John Perry Barlow, co-founder of the Electronic Frontier Foundation. Mr. Barlow has been known variously as a performing philosopher, peripheral visionary, cognitive dissident and The Thomas Jefferson of CyberSpace, for having written the "Declaration of Independence of Cyberspace".

He is a recognised commentator on information economics, digitized intellectual goods, cyber liberties and virtual communities.

He also co-wrote songs for the Grateful Dead from 1971 until their demise in 1995.

The schedule for the talks are as follows:

BANGALORE : Monday, October 23, 2000 at the JN Tata Auditorium, Indian Institute of Science, 7 PM
MUMBAI : Tuesday, October 24, 2000 at the Nehru Centre, 7 PM

Admission to the talks is free and on a first come first served basis.
