IMHO this would be correct, if (a), (b) and (c) were _independent_
propositions. If it transpires that (a) is a consequence of (b) and/or
(c), we have:

!(b) && !(c) => (a) = 0.

In which case:

Linux/GPL = (a) + (b) + (c)
BSD = (a) + (c)
Solaris = 0
