hai all...

i was running java 1.2.2 for linux on 6.2 and the basic requirement was a gblic factor > 2 and it worked well.We upgraded from 6.2 to 7 and suddenly java fails to work...and when i invoke the compiler it core dumps.
i checked out the glibc for 7 and it of course is > 2 and interestingly it has another rpm that suggests that it provides the compatibility with 6.2
