Not a solution to your problem. Just a dirty hack pointer.
You can guess the serverName and portNumber programmatically like so:
String docBase = this.getDocumentBase().toString();
int endIndex = docBase.lastIndexOf("/");
server = new String(docBase.substring(0,endIndex) + "/");
