Re: [LI] wvdial & ISDN

Thanks a lot. I could configure my ISDN TA. But I have
another problem. I have 4 ISDN account -VSNL, Dishnet,
mantraonline, Sigma.
Using WVDIAL, Mantraonline and Dishnet connect by 2nd
or 3rd attempt. But VSNL takes 15 to 20 attempts to
connect. Sigma does not connect at all. I get the
following messages.

--> Modem Initialized
--> Sending ATDT 8418350
--> Waiting for carrier.
    ATDT 8418350
    NO CARRIER
--> No Carrier! Trying Again.
--> Sending ATDT 8418350
--> Waiting for carrier.
    ATDT 8418350
    NO CARRIER
--> No Carrier! Trying Again.

I went through the DOCS of PPP-HOWTO. At section
18.3.3 (Debugging) they have specified something to
increase the lcp_max-configure to 30 or more.

What is this?? Will it help?? If so, where I need to
configure??

YOU CAN USE 'ATDT' TO CONNECT TO ISDN, NOT 'ATDI'.

Thanks a lot
Pinku
