Can you checkout the logs / the message header itself (from the message in
the Q) to see if sendmail has mentioned any reason why the mail is deferred ?

Generally the reason for deferring a mail is when the "From:" address or
the "To:" address is not resolvable by the DNS. (i.e. for instance when
your mailer puts something like skhader@xxxxxxxxxx as the from address and
you're not connected to the internet.) Deferring a mail if the To address
is not resolved is understandable (it doesn't know where to send it), but I
don't know  why sendmail should make such a fuss about resolving the
"From:" address.. Must be something to do with _relaying_ after all !! :-)
