[LI] Accessing Internet from Linux - Steps ?

Hi List,

Can anyone of u please tell me the steps to install and access internet from my
Linux Box.

H/W Configuration:
================
1. P100, 32 MB RAM
2. 33 Kbps GVC Modem (Connected through COM1)

S/W Configuration:
================
1. RedHat 6.1 - from PCQ CD.

I have gone through PPP HOWTO.... but i am afraid that PPP___ RPM is not
available in the CD. If it is required than from where should i download it ?

Can anyone help in telling the steps of installing and accessing internet from
my Linux PC. Does Linux also autodetects the modems and install appropriate
modem ?

Does Linux have a utility to dial and connect to VSNL server as it is there
under Windows ? If no than how should i do it.
