It is a VERY long time since I read the comments on 
Slashdot. I find the price to perf ratio to be not worth
the trouble of downloading comments! I guess I may be missing
some , but that's OK with me. c.o.l.d.s used to be terrific 
initially, but it has degenerated , and anyway , the less said
about VSNL's NNTP server , the better. (Does anyone really
thing the UDP is going to change anything?)

Anyway, there is enough info on journalling file systems and
one of the members of this list posted a very good summary 
of it a while ago. A search of the archives should find it.
