[LI] links and wwwoffle

I was trying to use links with wwwoffle as proxy. I am using it with
netscape without any problem. I configured links for proxy. But if start
pointing proxy server wwwoffle tells that wwwoffle needs a browser
complaint with http 1.1. And also it tell that needs authentication. How
to go about? in netscape it gives a dialog for authentication.
