[LI] Seagate Hard-disk...

HI,
	Has anyone tried using RH 6.2 with a Seagate 6.4 Gb (ST36421A U4) with
the dma2 mode set with 32bit multiword access? (using "hdparm -c1 -d1 -X34
..."). I am using it with no apparent problems but the poor HDD "seems" to be
straining a lot with quite loud noise, only during seek operations.  Please
drop a note if you too seem to be having a loud noise with this HDD.
					Also, can someone suggest a book with an
indepth coverage of Linux system administration?
