Re: [LI] wvdual



I configured wvdial just yesterday. Sorry for the typos. trying to be active
member in
as little time as possible

did you do this
- wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf
- wvdial looks for the prompt and sends ppp in case of
  vsnl it works however if it does not see a prompt then
  it just starts pppd and hopes for the *best*.
- Another thing are you sure you have prompt etc during
  login. If not then it is probably pap authentication in which
  case you will have to make appropriate entries in pap-secrets file
