[LI] Problem compiling kde apps

Hello all,
I need help for the following problem.
I have PCQ/RHL 6.1 and I mostly use KDE. I have problem compiling KDE apps. Currently there are six apps, which I cant compile.
When I try to ./configure, I get the following errors:

[START]
creating cache ./config.cache
checking for a BSD compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
---------<snip>-----------
checking for QT... libraries /usr/lib/qt-2.0.1/lib, headers /usr/lib/qt-2.0.1/include
checking if Qt compiles without flags... no
checking for KDE... libraries /usr/lib, headers /usr/include/kde
checking for extra includes... no
checking for extra libs... no
checking for kde headers installed... yes
checking for kde libraries installed... configure: error: your system fails at linking a small KDE application! Check, if your compiler is installed correctly and if you have used the same compiler to compile qt and kdelibs as you did use now
[END]

I had upgraded PCQ/RHL 6.0 to 6.1. and the errors are cropping up (I suppose). I tried to compile those apps on my friend's computer, who has also upgraded his RHL 6.0 to 6.1, and the same problem arises. Thru GNOME I unistalled and reinstalled the kdelibs and kdelibs-devel packages several times, but things dont work.

Thanks in advance.
