Re: [LI] Problem compiling kde apps

I also tried to compile kvoice which compiled in RH6.0 taht came with
CHIP CD. In RH 6.1 I also got nearly same msg. Last lines are given
below.
checking for kde libraries installed... configure: error: your system
fails
at linking a small KDE application!
Check, if your compiler is installed correctly and if you have used the
same compiler to compile qt and kdelibs as you did use now
I am having kdelibs and kdelibs-develop both.
How to go about it?

I tried to compile those apps on my friend's computer, who has also upgraded his RHL 6.0 to 6.1, and the same problem arises. Thru GNOME I unistalled and reinstalled the kdelibs and kdelibs-devel packages several times, but things dont work.
