$ man telnet
$ man ssh 
$ man ftp

ssh might not give you proper results... but telnet should.

/usr/doc/HOWTO can. man pages can. http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP can
( should be mirrored in /usr/doc/LDP )

Please get into the habit of reading manuals and text.
