Pinku.. This is simple

first check ur modem.. whether u can send packets
outside.. u check between two systems of urs.. 
if it is working.. problem solved...
dial in the IP address of the other server at
different location.. and Yahooooo.. it will work.. 

hey.. sorry..i think this should work. tell me if it
