[LI] forms with ncurses

hi,
i'm trying to make a form for data-entry with ncurses (#include <form.h>
etc.)
but i can't find a way to bind the data entered with a variable. any help,
pointers, code
will be *greatly* appreciated.

PS: i did RTFM -- the man pages, esr's tutorial and stuff, but couldn't
      make much of either.
