Vijay,

Try this out..

->edit lilo.conf

    put VGA=788 (code for 16bpp and 800x600) at end of section for linux
->run command 'lilo -v'
->reboot (u should see cute penguin at top left corner)
->Install FBDev from the RPM given in the CD.(u might be required to remove
prev version)
->remove 'X' link from  /etc/X11
->create another link 'X' in /etc/X11 which will now point to
/etc/X11R6/bin/FBDev*.*.*
-> copy this file as XF86 which i provide u as attachment

Ask if still problem..
