Re: [LI] runlevel, kdevelop, lilo

Hi

a) As far as default runlevel is concerned check the /etc/inittab file

b) The KDE apps by default install into /opt/kde but Redhat From 6.0 onwards has
changed it in RedHat Distribution to install into /usr/.

I haven't looked into KDE apps and libs sources to see how they identify the
path to look for , They do have a Enviornment variable KDEDIR set to the
required path.

A GENERIC SOLUTION that I would suggest is check out where KDEDIR is
pointing to and Force "rpm" to relocate the installation path to KDEDIR rather
than the default of "/opt".

However there could be options in the KDevelop itself but you will have to look
into it.

c) Look into you /etc/lilo.conf and see what values are there. Then type lilo
and see if it succeeds or if fails what message it gives.
