Re: [LI] installation of RH 6.1

All these, and some more of some Redhat 6.1 problems (and not PCQ CD
specific problem) are arising (going to arise) because there are some bugs
in their installation routine.

I didn't find time to look out whether Atul & Co have haked out and made
some changes in the installation routines of PCQ CD, but I guess that won't
have been possible considering the fact that they had to wrap up everything
by Ist week of Oct (I remember Atul once writing that they have to get
everything in the CD ready at least a month earlier -> getting replicated
from Singapore ... etc., and on top of that the PCQ Linux team had a hectic
time due to IT.COM) whereas the installation updates/bug fixes have been
released around 20-23 October.

For details go to
http://www.redhat.com/corp/support/errata/RHEA1999045-01.html
and http://developer.redhat.com/bugzilla/query.cgi for further details.

Note: BTW, here in Calcutta, we got PCQ by 4th November :-)
