As written in its 'install' file, I copied its files in new /mswordview folder. Than I ran './configure' followed by 'make' and 'make install'. It installed the files in '/usr/local/bin' folder. But when I double click the MSWORDVIEW file nothing happens.

Is this the same problem like SO5. Can anyone help ? If someone has Chip Linux CD, please tell if there is another software on it which can read my old MSWord files.

Can Wordperfect for Linux read MSWord files ?

Thanks: G
