relays - see the two spams below - one relayed through TIFR
(tifr.res.in) and the other through mailbg.vsnl.net.in (VSNL
Bangalore).

For sendmail - see http://www.sendmail.org/~ca (Claus Assmann's
page) for the necessary modifications to sendmail.cf (I'd advise you
to mirror the whole lot).
Syed - you said you did not want to configure your box as an open
relay - wise decision.
Atul - cc to you. As you are in B'lore - could you help VSNL and
KAR NIC out? Last time I contacted the KAR NIC sysadmin he said
"we would upgrade to sendmail 8.9.3 but that does not support
UUCP mails so we will stick to smi/svr4 till the elections are over"
(?!?!?! why the hell not ?!?!?!)
-- he's still not done anything about this.
As it is, kar.kar.nic.in (Nat'l Informatics Center Karnataka) and
giascla.vsnl.net.in (VSNL Calcutta is it?) have been hijacked by
spammers in the recent past.
It just means that spambags have discovered India bigtime. See
this beauty I got not 5 minutes ago (typing offline - will come back
and send this). At least ~this~ should help these clueless
sysadmins close their relay.
