[LI] fw: [PLUG-Mail] SiS 6215c in the latest XFree86 Distro
Hello all
Got this in my mailbox today -- hope this helps - to all of us who
have problems with SiS cards.
AFAIK, PCQ is bringing out a CD with Redhat 6 in November. They
could include this XFree86 server (if not done already). This has not
cropped up in this particular forum afaict, so ...
If it is old hat to you lot, my apologies.

I checked out the solution u suggested for my SiS6215C but i think
thats not the right thing to do.. so i surfed on for a better
solution.. I found that @ the site Xfree86.org.. they have a new X
server version 3.3.5.. the latest! and the XFree86 SVGA server now
supports SiS6C215.. according to the hardware compatibility list
12 .tgz files required for the Xfree86 instalation
