[LI] -display flag in X

Hello all,
Suppose there are 2 machines alpha and beta running linux(with X). and i
have an account on both of them. Now i log on to alpha and then telnet to
beta. after that i give the command
xv -display beta:0.0 foo.jpg
and what happens is that the display opens on the beta machine leaving the
user on beta quite surprised!
I want to know how can i prevent this from happening? Similarly theres a
prgoram called xkeys which can be used as mentioned above to trap the
keybord strokes on any machine.
Is there a way to prevent this?
Notice that xhosts option doesnt even come in the picture!
Thanks
Gaurav
