Hello all,

This is the first time i am writing to linux-india. a little intro... I am
Sachin Dole, a student at IIM Lucknow in the second year. I am thrilled at the
idea of a Linux users group in India... 

My query:

How can i provide a web based login to users on my lan Intranet server? What i
want to do is to provide users a facility to access there disk space on a
server and edit or delete or rename their files as well as read/write their
mail. I know it sounds like CGI and Perl, but which module can help me
authenticate users? or how can i make a perl script authenticate users??? If
my question is unclear pls mail back... 

Another query...

How do i configure sendmail to accept and send mails from the lan using MS
Outlook or any other Windows based mail Client

Yet another one...

How do i make my PC on the lan a nameserver?

and the last one...

how do i administer news???

I know thats a lot of questions... but really i have not been able to do thi
on my own... if u can... please also suggest some good documentation to
read...
