Hi,
1. About the RAM not being detected .. u probably havent configured the
BIOS properly. There is an option there about detecting a 'Memory Hole'
after 14M or something like that. Change the setting so that it doesnt try
and auti-rectify that. That should work..
2. If fstab doesnt have the entry for the swap.. add it and then do
swapon -a.
3. RTFM. /usr/doc has everything.
