RE: Copy-Paste in Linux

> But is it possoble to cut and paste b/w X and the VTs ?

To copy and paste from text terminal to text terminal or X to text terminal
or text terminal to X:

Mark text with mouse, go to other terminal. The process of marking puts the
marked text into the clipboard.

With two button mouse, press both buttons simultaneously, with three button
mouse, press center button.

Some applications (under KDE) have the Windows-like Edit|Copy, Edit|Paste
menu option. This may or may not work for copying text to paste elsewhere,
because some apps use their own clipboard. However, the highlighted text is
usually still pastable using the above method.
