Re: The Ultimate Coup!

In this line my 2*Rs. 0.45/- :

We can make two software on this line:

1) That will scan available hardware and software and make a comparative
estimate of price & performance between Win9x & Linux. I mean Push selling
Linux ;-)

2) A Linux installer - for Windows compatible PCs. Much of the complexity in
installing Linux comes due to wide choices made available to user.
Whereas - Windows makes most of the decision by itself. Average user are not
interested in the details of PC - he uses it as a tool. So a OS that
installs itself with minimum user intervention is popular. It reduces
vendors effort also. Now Linux has developed from the stage of hacking to
Desktop use. An user friendly installer will go a long way to increase
popularity of Linux. I like the Symantec style
- - Typical (No user intervention)
- - Custom (Menu driven choices)
- - Advanced (Open to full tinkering)

Is anybody listening ?
