Hi,

         The problem with having 2.1GB lies in the (older) BIOS
which cant handle more than 1024 cylinders. But, Linux should not
have a problem with that because it does not use BIOS for disk access.
The only problem lies with LILO which uses INT 13 (BIOS) for boot-up.
As long as the linux boot-files (kernel, map and boot.b) lie within
the first 1024 cylinder boundary, you should be able to boot up just
fine.
