Dear Mr. Shah,

Are u using lilo for boot?  If so, is it stopping after display of LI?

If so, I have also faced the same problem if the No. of Cylinders exceeds
the 1024 Limit which can be handled by Lilo.  

In this case you have to use the linear append mode with lilo by giving
the following command at the prompt.

lilo -l

I hope this will solve your problem.
