Iomega Jaz 2GB drive on parallel port.

Has anyone got this setup working? I can't use SCSI since my PC
doesn't have it. The setup I have is RH Linux 5.2, Kernel 2.2.10
compiled with IDE->SCSI translation, SCSI disk support, and Iomega
disk support. The Jaz drive is powered on with a disk inside before
booting. The parallel port driver doesn't recognize any device. Any
suggestions?
