Hi everybody,
have some problem running "ipchains"
got the software
installed it.
now when i run " /sbin/ipchains " i get
*************************************************
/sbin/ipchains: error in loading shared libraries
: undefined symbol: __libc_start_main
*************************************************
i have kernel 2.2.8 compiled on RHL 5.2 (PC Quest)
also /sbin/ipfwadm does not work says.
************************************************************
[root@fpl /software]# /sbin/ipfwadm -F -a m -S 10.1.1.1
ipfwadm: setsockopt failed: No such file or directory
************************************************************
i think 2.2.8 has some new path for the /proc/sys/net/ip_forward file &
simply does not allow me to add new rules for Masquerading/forwarding etc.
note* ipfwadm used to work great on 2.0.36 ( the original shtuff that came
along with RHL 5.2) on the same system.
please help :-O
