Apache: premature end of SCRIPT headers

hi there,
hmm . I put a perl file (of it has been test with perl and has the
proper content type mentioned) in my cgi-bin directory and try to run it
in the browser using the url
http://localhost/cgi-bin/test.pl
Here it says premature end of script headers and doesn't display
anything .(Argh!! How I hate this).
Can Anybody help me out here.
