Compaq ships DESKTOP machines certified for Linux!

Well, looks like the unthinkable has started happening:

As of June 8th, Compaq has started offering **desktop** machines certified
for Linux! IBM has made a statement about planning to do this, but hasn't
yet started shipping such machines, so Compaq beats them to it. Microsoft is
not going to like this one bit....
