Add the following lines to your rc.local file:

echo "IP Forwarding enabled"
ipfwadm -F -i accept -m -S 192.168.244.0/255.255.255.0

Note: replace 192.168.244.0 with you range of IP address

This will enable IP masq. and you Yahoo chat should work.
