I don't think any sane programmer would expect the user to install a
800MHz CPU and 128MB RAM and graphics card with 4MB RAM just to see a
nice interface for installing a software which doesnt care a damn about
graphics :).

I dont mind the user friendliness of Windows but 
rpm-Uvh <package name> or
apt-get install <package name>
what the heck is the problem with writing that ???

What about GnoRPM or dselect arent they user friendly enuff ??? - or
maybe ahem you should have asked how do I install packages in the first
place :)
