The rest sounds excellent - but may I suggest DocBook or SGML instead of PDF?
It is easily convertible to several different formats, and is reasonably
platform independent.

I think that's a feature of the LIG list. Thaths has a different queue
processing style for LIG because it typically has far less volume than LIH
(from what I remember abt a post he made last year or so).
