Not to the thread which I started, I hope.  

PCQ deserves thanks for distributing LINUX (I won't say "redhat" like it's some
sort of non-linux) in India.  They don't deserve to be bashed for the work
they've put in.

For what it's worth, several of my American friends, mostly sysadmins, were
really impressed with http://www.pcquest.com/linux ... one of them was hunting
high and low for a CD writing howto, and ecstatic when I pointed him at the PCQ
howto)

I've used redhat long enough to like it (and to make it a bit more
likeable, security wise, starting with stuff like rpm --erase linuxconf <g>)

No. I'm not opposing PCQ or RedHat at all - in fact, I support them
wholeheartedly for the great job they are doing in producing an easy-to-use
linux which is _accessible_.  What I oppose has been covered in excruciating
detail in previous messages in this thread, and I don't feel inclined to repeat
the whole thing :)
