Brett Glass is generally thought to be as dogmatic in his
opposition to GPL as Stallman in his defence.
My current thinking on this issue - how to make no cost software (note the
absence of other adjectives) most useful to people is: write a lot of free
software using cross platform APIs - primarily targeted towards windows
users who make up 90+% of the computer users.
This, IMO will serve some of the ideological views (free software for
education, high school kids, localized stuff etc) expressed here a lot
better than a Linux only solution.
