10 reasons, in no particular order:

Because it will cause confusion in the marketplace.  
Because this is un-Indian.  
Because this is communist, or socialist, or fascist.  
Because this anti-competitive/too competitive.
Because Standards are the best when they are not discussed.  
Because consumers will be confused.  
Because we may want to change the site.  
Because we are too lazy.  
Because choice is bad.  
Because you may show people multiple ways to do the same.  
Because there is no Wizard available to do this.
