Hi

I just purchased a 40GB hard disk. When i docked that into my comp, my computer could not detect it.Currently the jumper settings are for master. It has another jumper settings which allowed it to be used as a 32 GB capacity. By doing this jumper setting, the hard disk is detected but  as a primary slave.

Please tell me if anyone of u has any solutions. According to my thinking , the most probable reason is that my bios does not support it or some problem with my motherboard.

I have a vintron motherboard with VIA chipset and p2 350mhz processor.
