Re: [LIH] RedHat 7.1
Is that actually true - RedHat 7.0 had something called kgcc to compile
kernel etc. but I dont find it anywhere on my workstation (RedHat 7.1).
[mithun@zorro mithun]$ gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/2.96/specs
gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-81)
[mithun@zorro mithun]$ which kgcc
/usr/bin/which: no kgcc in
[mithun@zorro mithun]$ rpm -q kgcc
package kgcc is not installed
Did a search on rpmfind but found nothing for RedHat 7.1. A search on
redhat.com also didnt turn up any advisory for 7.1.
Anyone did a kernel compile on 7.1 ????
